About the Interview
Each applicant will participate in two 25-to-30-minute interviews: one interview will be with two faculty and/or physician interviewers and one will be with a current medical student. Interview times are assigned randomly to applicants between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Anticipate that there may be some waiting time before your interview or between interviews. Once you have completed the second interview, you will meet with a faculty member to reflect on your day. When you have finished your reflection, you are free to leave.
Parking and Arrival
You may park in the gated visitor parking lot on campus. The gate will open automatically. If the gates are not open when you leave, you will be provided with a parking token so that you can exit without paying the $1 parking fee.
The College of Medicine at Peoria is housed in a modern brick and glass building with a single public entrance. When you enter, sign in with the security guard at the main desk. You will be handed a name badge and information packet that includes your schedule for the day. (Don’t forget to sign out at the security desk when you leave.)
