Dr. Thomas Rossi is originally from Hopedale, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and his doctorate in medicine from Chicago Medical School at North Chicago. He completed his Surgical Internship and General Surgery Residency at Cook County/University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago.
Dr. Rossi is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He served as an Instructor of Surgery as well as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Cook County Hospital. He is Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery, Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program, and Attending Team Leader of the residency ‘Orange Service’. Dr. Rossi is on the active staff at the three Peoria hospitals.
Dr. Rossi resides in Morton, Illinois with his wife Dr. Janice Takata-Rossi and their nine children.
