Dr. Kelsey Murray is originally from Berea, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. She attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA where she majored in Biological Sciences and Psychology. Before starting medical school, she worked at a federally qualified health center in Pittsburgh through AmeriCorps doing patient outreach and care coordination. Then she attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine and was in the dual MD/Masters of Health Administration program. Then, she completed her family medicine residency at OhioHealth Grant Family Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. She moved to Peoria in 2020 to complete a fellowship in obstetrics and women’s health at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. Afterwards, she stayed on as part-time faculty and sees patients in Pekin. Her interests include reproductive health and obstetrics, mental health, and healthcare technology.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys painting, Zumba, board games, and reading.
