Four categorical General Surgery residents are chosen annually through the National Resident Matching Program. Our program offers no preliminary positions in General Surgery. Applications are accepted solely through ERAS and selection is based on academic records, accomplishments, recommendations and personal interviews. We have no minimum test score but expect highly qualified candidates. We like three Letters of Recommendation from academic surgeons and we like recent graduates. International medical graduates must currently be in or have completed one year in a General Surgery residency program in the United States. We sponsor H1 and J1 visas.

Due to COVID-19 and in accordance with AAMC guidelines, we will conduct all interviews and virtual visits online.
