About Our Program
The Department of Radiology offers a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at the OSF Saint Francis Center for Breast Health, formerly known as the Susan G. Komen Breast Center.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 positions. The one-year fellowship accepts one fellow per year.
The Breast Imaging Fellowship Program offers extensive experience in all aspects of Breast Imaging and Interventions including breast ultrasound, breast MRI and interventional procedures, stereotactic core biopsy, ultrasound-guided core biopsy, cyst aspiration, fine needle aspiration, ductography, and wire localizations for surgical resection.
Fellows will attend and participate in various clinical conferences. They also have opportunity to spend time working closely with other members of the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center multidisciplinary team including breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, pathologist, medical and radiation oncologists, and breast nurse navigators. They are also invited to participate in clinical research projects.
