We have an excellent program, compassionate residents who enjoy working hard and dedicated faculty who love to teach. Our program is located in the heart of Central Illinois in a busy tertiary care center and is busy with routine and high risk obstetrical and gynecological patients.

Applicants are selected on the basis of their ability, academic credentials, communication skills, motivation and integrity. We do not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability or veteran status.
Our program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications are only accepted through ERAS. Our program number is 2201611096. We also participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
We accept four candidates annually. Review of the prospective candidates application is performed and those candidates meeting our criteria are invited for an interview. Those candidates not being invited for an interview will be notified of their application being declined or in some instances that they will be placed on a waiting list for an open interview slot. An interview is required for full consideration of your application. The deadline for application submission with supporting documents is December 31, but we encourage applicants to complete their applications in the early fall. Applicants will be notified by email if they are selected for an interview.

Interviews are conducted from October through January. 2022 INTERVIEWS WILL BE STRICTLY VIRTUAL DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.
Requirements

Dean’s Letter (MSPE)
Medical school transcript
USMLE or COMLEX scores (Step 1 and Step 2)

International Medical Graduates

A letter from the Dean of the medical school
