Dr. Julian Lin graduated with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in electrical engineering. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Lin has received numerous awards throughout his educational and professional career including receiving First Place in the Resident Award Competition at the American College of Surgeons 49th Annual Meeting. He has presented his work on topics such as Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injuries and Molecular Studies of Thermal Brain Injury. In addition, Dr. Lin has published a book chapter on Common Spinal Disorders in the Young Athlete.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics, as well as Section Head of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). He is on staff at all three Peoria hospitals, including the Children’s Hospital of Illinois located at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Dr. Lin and his wife, Jamie, live in Peoria with their son and daughter.
