Support Policy

Communications & Information Services (CIS) will provide assistance with the following technical problems on your personal device:

  • Email access
  • Recording download
  • Microsoft Office
  • Windows 7, 8/8.1, 10
  • Mac OS
  • Account issues
  • Antivirus support
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems
  • Mobile device support

CIS will not be able to assist with the following technical problems on your personal device:

  • Data backup and restoration
  • Hardware repair or installation of new hardware
  • Connectivity with any non UICOMP connection

Equipment for Loan

Dell (Windows) laptops for 7-day loan

Equipment Loan Request Forms are available in CIS (Room A117).
