Zoom video conferencing is now available for faculty, staff and students. CIS has installed the application and the Outlook scheduling tool on UICOMP devices.

Clinical / Patient Care: (This is NOT available for clinics or patient care at this time.)

Getting Started

  1. Go to uic.zoom.us
  2. Click Sign in (Configure your account)
  3. Enter your university email and password
    • If you already have a free Basic Zoom account, the portal will ask you to switch to a new account. Please confirm that, yes, you do want to switch to the UIC licensed account.

Logging In

  1. Ensure you have complete the steps listed above
  2. When prompted to sign in, choose Sign In with SSO
  3. When asked for company domain, enter uic (so that the full address reads uic.zoom.us) and click continue
  4. You will be redirected to UIC’s SSO (single sign-on) site, Shibboleth
  5. Enter your university NetID and password
