Robert George is currently an Ensign in the United States Navy. He will become a Lieutenant upon graduation. Robert is deeply honored to be approved to pursue a civilian residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Robert is particularly interested in craniofacial, hand, and cancer-survivor breast reconstruction. Highlights of his achievements at the University of Illinois include induction to both the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha, as well as receiving the Chancellor’s Student Service Award. He has a BA in Biochemistry with distinction and a Spanish minor from Occidental College, where he graduated Summa cum laude. Robert currently serves as a Peer Educator and president of the Surgery Interest Group.
