What You Can Expect
The Patient Experience
At the Midlife and Menopause Clinic, patients are met with time, attention, and expertise. We understand that many women arrive having navigated years of dismissed or undertreated symptoms. Our approach is rooted in shared decision-making — meaning we listen first, explain clearly, and develop a care plan together. Every visit is an opportunity to partner with you in understanding what is happening in your body, what options are available, and what choices align with your values, your health history, and your life.
Your First Visit
At your first visit, you can expect a comprehensive consultation that goes beyond symptom management. We take time to understand your full health picture — gynecologic, cardiovascular, metabolic, cognitive, and emotional — because menopause affects all of it. From there, we work with you to develop an individualized care plan that may include hormone and non-hormone therapies, lifestyle guidance, and coordination with other specialists as needed. You will leave with a clear understanding of your health and a plan that is yours.
