Fifty-one students from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria received their medical degrees on Saturday, May 4, at the Peoria Civic Center, raising the total number of doctors who have received their medical degrees in Peoria to 2,074. The graduation included a hooding ceremony symbolizing the awarding of the degree, and the graduating physicians all took the Modern Hippocratic Oath.
