The Consultation/Liaison Service (CLS) at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Peoria provides timely, efficient and high quality psychiatric consultation services to the medical and surgical inpatient units at Methodist Medical Center of Illinois (MMCI). The CLS provides evaluation and assistance with the management of psychiatric disorders occurring in medically ill inpatients throughout MMCI.
The CLS is also an excellent educational training site for medical students, as well as psychiatric, internal medicine, family practice, and neurology residents. It provides opportunities for research in consultation-liaison psychiatry, as well.
