The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOMP) offers a broad range clinical care services that have addressed patient needs in Peoria and Central Illinois for many years. Our talented faculty and staff have established programs that offer best practice services in all aspects of mental illness management.
Services include seamless integration between outpatient individual, family, couples, and group counseling, inpatient care, consultation, employer support, and forensic psychiatry services. The recent development of subspecialty services for those with illnesses such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, or women's issues, among others, highlights our commitment to providing the highest level of clinical care.
