Salvatore J. LoCoco, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Chair
Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. LoCoco received his medical degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Toronto. He is is an early adopter of robotic surgery in radical pelvic surgery for gynecologic cancer. He has also participated in establishing training guidelines for robotic surgery. He has an interest in palliative medicine and hospice care in order to improve the quality of end of life care.

Rebecca J. Byler Dann, M.D.

Director, Division of Gynecologic Oncology
Dr. Byler Dann joined UICOMP August 1, 2009. She earned a medical degree and MPH at the University of Pitttsburgh School of Medicine. She completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Magee Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Kenneth A. Hodel, M.D.
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Hodel graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. He then completed a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine in Orange, California. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

Thomas L. Gross, M.D.
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Gross received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Akron General Medical Center/Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Akron, Ohio. He then completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Leonardi received his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at San Antonio, Texas and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine at Detroit, Michigan. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Renfroe earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine at Washington, DC. She completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine at Detroit, Michigan. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Graczykowski received his medical degree from Akademia Medyczna w Gdansku (School of Medicine) in Gdansk, Poland. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology.

Dr. Boulos graduated from Cairo School of Medicine in Egypt and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He obtained an M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, majoring in contraception and reproductive physiology. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Clinical Assistant Professor
Program Director, Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program
Dr. Croland earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Penn State Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He completed a Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery rotation at Evanston Hospital/Northwester Univeristy in Evanston, IL.

Thomas Lee, D.O.

M-3 Clerkship Director
Dr. Lee graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in association with Michigan State University at Muskegon General Hospital. Dr. Lee has been in private practice in the Peoria area since 1996 and joined UICOMP in 1999. He was appointed as Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship Director in August of 2006.

May Yazeji, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Yazeji is a graduate of Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria, and completed her residency at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She joined UICOMP as a full-time faculty member in July of 2008.
