Sandy was born and raised in the Peoria area. She joined the UICOMP staff in 2001. Previous to that, she worked at Proctor Hospital in the Medical Records Department as a medical transcriptionist for many years. Sandy has three children and two grandchildren who are the light of her life. Being the dog lover that she is, she also has two toy Pomeranians, Abby and Callie. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, music, taking an occasional weekend trip to Galena, hanging out with her friends, and of course, playing with her grandchildren.
