Office of Graduate Medical Education

The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria is the sponsoring institution of 15 residency and fellowship training programs approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

The Peoria campus, one of four campuses that comprise the University of Illinois College of Medicine, has nearly 250 residents and fellows enrolled.

With our teaching affiliate partners, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Methodist Medical Center of Illinois, the College of Medicine has access to more than 900 patient beds, a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only full-service tertiary hospital for kids in downstate Illinois. Both serve a metropolitan residential population of over 375,000 but draw patients from a population base of more than one million people.

UICOMP oversees the education of 11 ACGME-accredited residency programs, four ACGME-accredited fellowship programs and five additional fellowship training programs. For specific information about a program, including application procedures, contact the program directly or visit the program's web page.
