Fourth-year medical students can explore the exciting opportunity to rotate with our esteemed Department of Neurosurgery. We value your schedule and strive to accommodate your interests in gaining additional insights into our specialty and program.
As a participant, you will engage in daily morning and evening rounding, with a primary focus on the operating room. Call arrangements will be tailored to your needs. Gain hands-on experience in essential bedside procedures such as ventriculostomy, ICP and oxygen probes, lumbar drains and taps, central line and arterial line placement.
You will also participate in daily conferences, and don't miss the chance for more informal interaction at our engaging dinner meetings.
