Professional Benefits Heading link
Medical students who match with our Family Medicine Residency Program through the 2023 NRMP (but not the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program, SOAP) will receive a $10,000 incentive payment.
- $1,200 annual for CME or approved educational materials
- Brand new, state-of-the-art resident lounge that features:
- Large workroom with teleconference capabilities
- Comfortable living room area with kitchen, darts, flat screen TV and sound system
- Exercise space with treadmill, stationary bike and weights
- Comfortable call rooms, bathroom and shower
- 5 days/year of paid time off for CME as PGY-2 and PGY-3
- 5 days of paid time off to pursue future practice opportunities as PGY-3
- Reimbursement for temporary medical license
- Reimbursement for permanent state physician license and controlled substance licenses for residents who moonlight for or enter permanent employment with Carle Health Methodist
