The Heart of Illinois HIV/AIDS Center provides a vast array of services for persons who are living with HIV/AIDS.
Our Mission: HIHAC (Heart of Illinois HIV/AIDS Center) exists to provide comprehensive, consumer driven care and services to all individuals infected with and affected by HIV and to their communities. HIHAC staff does this through:
- Unconditional acceptance that respects the individual's right to receive confidential, compassionate, holistic care.
- Advocacy and empowerment for individuals and communities
- Creating partnerships with communities, consumers and other professionals to increase HIV awareness and improve quality of life.
